Everything about the dedicated Android version of VidSave — features, availability, and how it differs from the website.
For people who save TikTok videos every day, opening a browser and pasting links works — but a dedicated app makes it faster. The VidSave Android app wraps the same downloader you already know in a lightweight, phone-first interface. This page explains what it does, how it compares to the website, and where to get it.
The app uses the same engine as the website — you paste a TikTok link, it processes the video, and you choose your format (HD without watermark, standard video, or MP3 audio). Because it is the same service, accounts are unnecessary there too: no sign-up, no login, no payment. Anything you can save on the website works identically in the app.
The app is currently in the store review process for Huawei AppGallery, which serves Huawei and Honor devices. Once approved, it will be downloadable directly from the store — the listing will appear with the name VidSave PK. We will announce availability here on the website and on this page first, so bookmark it. Support for additional app stores is planned as the app matures.
| Use the website if… | Use the app if… |
|---|---|
| You download occasionally | You download daily |
| You are on iPhone or desktop | You have an Android phone (Huawei AppGallery) |
| You want zero installs | You want one-tap access and notifications |
The app requests only the permissions it genuinely needs: storage access for saving files and network access for processing links. It does not read your contacts, messages, or other apps. The same Privacy Policy applies — links are processed transiently and nothing personal is collected. The app never asks for your TikTok password.
The app makes saving effortless — the responsibility stays the same. Download your own content or content you have permission to save, keep it for personal use, and credit creators when sharing. Full rules are in our Terms of Service.
