Save the sound, skip the video — trending audio, songs, and voiceovers in seconds.
TikTok is where most new trending sounds are born. Maybe it is a remix you want for your workout playlist, a podcast-style voiceover, a recipe you would rather listen to while cooking, or a comedy bit worth keeping. Whatever the reason, converting a TikTok video to MP3 takes less than a minute with VidSave's free tool — and this guide walks you through it.
In the TikTok app, tap the Share arrow on the video and choose Copy Link.
Open the downloader, paste the link, and tap Download.
When the results appear, choose the MP3 / Audio download. VidSave extracts the original sound from the video at the best available bitrate and saves it to your device's Downloads folder.
MP3 extraction quality is limited by the source. TikTok streams audio at a fixed quality, so the extracted MP3 matches the original upload's sound — it will not magically become studio quality, but for songs, speech, and comedy clips it is indistinguishable from watching the video. For the best result, always start from the highest-quality original: videos uploaded in HD carry better audio streams (see our HD guide).
Some links — particularly photo slideshows or posts with muted audio — have no sound to extract. In that case only the video option is shown.
On Android, files land in Downloads; most music apps pick them up after a rescan (restart the app or the phone). On iPhone, save the file via Save to Files and play it from the Files app, or import it into a music player app that supports local files.
Retry once — this is usually a transient processing glitch. If it persists, the original upload may have a damaged audio track.
Saved audio is for personal listening. Using a trending sound in your own TikTok should be done inside the TikTok app (where licensing is handled automatically). Ripping audio for commercial projects, reuploads, or redistribution without rights is copyright infringement — respect the artists and creators behind the sounds. Full details in our Terms of Service.
